The return procedure is as follows:
1) Contact us via linda@sweetdietdelights.com for a return authorization within 3 days of receipt of item. Please include your order number and billing name.
2) Return your purchase in the same packaging it arrived to you in. Enclose a copy of your packing list. We suggest that you use a shipping method that offers you insurance and tracking as we cannot be held liable for lost or stolen packages.
3) You must return the item within 30 days of your purchase.
4) The customer must pay for the shipping on returns. We will refund your payment less the shipping charges. In the case you received free shipping we will deduct our actual shipping costs.
5) No postage due returns will be accepted and no credits will be issued for shipping charges. Refused shipments will be charged a 10% re-stocking fee and will be credited less our shipping costs.

SHIPPING INFORMATION
ALL orders come with FREE SHIPPING either USPS Priority Mail or UPS Ground according to our shippers choice to the continental USA. There is an additional charge of $15 for all orders to Alaska and Hawaii. If you want Next Day Air it is available for an additional charge of $25. Cold Packs to protect your chocolates are available as well at a charge of $5.00.
We do everything we can but cannot guarantee that we will ship orders the same business day.We ship every in-stock item UPS Ground or USPS Priority Mail within 24-48 hours barring any complications . This is our processing time. Standard mail takes approx. 5-7 business days. You can expect it within 5-15 days after placing your order depending upon your location and the time of year. Usually however, you will receive your item in about 2-4 days after it is shipped. See the UPS Map below for UPS ground shipping times.
Please note that most orders are mailed out within 24 hours and many the same day as the order is placed. You can not modify or cancel an order after 24 hours the order was posted but you can return the item if you do not want it after you receive it. See our return policy below.
IMPORTANT!!! During warm weather chocolate melts quickly. In HOT or Very Warm weather we suggest you also order a COLD PACK to protect your chocolates & ship them Next Day Air for a $25 charge per order (Next Day Air includes an ice pack.). Your Sweet Diet Delights NEED protection from the heat so keep them safe by adding on the Cold Pack Box. We are not responsible for melted chocolate if you do not choose this option, and your order is shipped to a warm address (i.e. Arizona, Florida, South Carolina, Texas). The boxed gourmet chocolates prices include Standard USPS Priority Shipping.
During the warm summer months we may not be able to ensure specific delivery dates. This is because we can generally ship only Monday - Wednesday. Shipments cannot sit in the shippers warehouse over the weekend or the chocolate will melt. Remember it is best to order a cold pack for shipping in warm weather.
To ensure a specific delivery date, please select Next Day - also please add a note to the comments letting us know that delivery date is critical. Orders must arrive before 10:00 AM EST to ensure on time delivery. Please keep in mind that Next Day delivery means 1 business day from the day the order is shipped, not the date you place the order
